preface from loco uph
Best wishes to all of us.
Center For Indonesian Medical Student Activities (CIMSA), University of Pelita Harapan 2012 has finally gotten a chance to hold a national event, the CIMSA October Meeting. It is an honor for CIMSA UPH, as a recently active organization, to hold a national event and to be entrusted in supporting MDG’s (Millenium Development Goals) of advancing our nation, Indonesia.
In order to carry out the vision and mission of CIMSA, CIMSA UPH will carry out the theme of “The Future Doctors’ Role in Building Partnerships to Improve the Nation’s Health” with additional themes of MDG’s and stem cell. These themes were chosen because we, as potential doctors, should be informed of the latest developments in medical science such as stem cells, while also carrying out our mission and vision and supporting the Government’s Millenium Goals.
The October Meeting will be held in UPH, and it will also serve as the first national event of UPH. The October Meeting is expected to be able to discuss the CIMSA programs for the coming year. Hopefully CIMSA members in universities around Indonesia will have a chance to get to know each other.
We hope that through this event, all medical students involved would share their experience, create a mutual bond, and make a contribution to improving the health care in Indonesia.
BEST REGARDS,
Stevanus Jonathan
